Montecito acquires four medical office properties in Central Florida

Montecito Medical, a leading buyer of medical office properties nationwide, has acquired a four-building portfolio of oncology properties in the Orlando, Florida, area.

The properties in Sanford, Orange City, Oviedo, and DeLand are fully occupied by Mid-Florida Cancer Centers, a regionally dominant oncology practice. The buildings together comprise nearly 48,000 square feet.

“We are excited to add this portfolio of proven real estate assets and to have the opportunity to build a long-term relationship with the physicians of this outstanding group of specialty providers,” said Rus Gudnyy, Senior Vice President of Investments at Montecito Medical.

Mid-Florida Cancer Centers is the leading oncology group in Central Florida, with four locations and 11 practicing physicians offering a full range of oncology services. The group is a partner of OneOncology, the fastest-growing national platform for independent oncology practices that includes over 1,000 cancer care providers.

The properties, situated north of downtown Orlando in Seminole and Volusia Counties, are part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford MSA, one of the nation’s 25 largest metropolitan statistical areas.

“This transaction brings us to a total of 11 acquisitions in Florida in 2024, and we are continuing to pursue outstanding medical real estate investment opportunities that we are seeing here,” said Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical.
