Montecito acquires medical office property in Sacramento area

Montecito Medical, a leading buyer of medical office properties nationwide, has acquired a 25,000-square-foot medical office building in Roseville, California.

The building is 100% occupied by Sutter Health, the nation’s tenth-largest not-for-profit health system.

“We are excited to partner with Sutter Health and to add this property to our growing portfolio in Northern California,” said Rus Gudnyy, Senior Vice President of Investments at Montecito Medical.

Roseville is part of the Sacramento Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The building is situated approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown Sacramento, just off Interstate 80.

Headquartered in Sacramento, Sutter Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare delivery system with more than 60,000 employees and over 12,000 physicians in its network. The health system operates 24 hospitals across Northern California, including four in the Sacramento area, and over 200 clinics.

Sutter Health’s providers at the Roseville location specialize in family medicine and dermatology. The site includes a lab and a mobile PET/CT scanner.

“As we steadily expand our presence in Northern California, we continue to be excited by the opportunities we are seeing here to add value for both our company and the providers we serve,” said Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical.
