Montecito Medical, one of the nation’s most active investors in medical office real estate, has acquired a health system-affiliated medical office building in San Antonio, Texas.
CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic tenants the property, which is situated in suburban Westover Hills on the city’s west side. The clinic is part of CHRISTUS Health, which operates a 150-bed hospital nearby.
“We are pleased by this opportunity to build on our relationship with CHRISTUS Health and add another property with strong health system credit to our portfolio,” said Rus Gudnyy, Senior Vice President of Investments at Montecito Medical.
CHRISTUS Health is a not-for-profit health system, headquartered in suburban Dallas, with roots extending to 1866. Today, CHRISTUS operates more than 600 facilities, serving patients across Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Arkansas in the United States as well as in Mexico, Chile, and Colombia.
The acquisition is Montecito’s fourth in Texas since the beginning of September. “We continue to pursue investment opportunities in selected growth areas in one of the fastest growing states in the country,” said Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical.
