Montecito Medical, a leading buyer of medical office properties nationwide, has acquired a three-building oncology MOB portfolio on New York’s Long Island.
The properties, which offer a combined 72,638 square feet of rentable space, are tenanted by New York Blood and Cancer Specialists. The buildings are located in Port Jefferson, Southampton, and Research Ridge, New York, respectively.
“We are excited to add these three properties to our medical real estate portfolio and to enter into a long-term relationship with a respected medical organization that serves so many New York residents,” said Rus Gudnyy, Senior Vice President of Investments at Montecito Medical.
New York Cancer & Blood Specialists is a comprehensive oncology and hematology practice that operates more than 40 locations throughout New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. In 2018, the group became a founding member of OneOncology, a national partnership of independent community oncology practices that aims to enhance patient care through shared resources, technology, and clinical research.
