Melissa O’Neill, Director of Investor Relations for Montecito Medical, has been named Ambassador of the Year by Leadership Healthcare (LHC), an initiative of the Nashville Healthcare Council.
LHC was created by the Nashville Healthcare Council to nurture the talent of the community’s emerging healthcare leaders. The Ambassador of the Year award recognizes an individual member who has shown dedication and commitment to LHC and serves as a positive reflection of the organization’s mission and goals.
The award was announced at a reception in December.
“I am proud to accept this honor on behalf of our entire Montecito team,” O’Neill said. “It is a reflection of our company’s commitment and effort to build lasting, win-win relationships with medical office owners and healthcare professionals.”
O’Neill assists Montecito’s capital-raising initiatives and focuses on developing relationships throughout the healthcare industry. She also plays a leading role in working with the Montecito Advisory Board, which comprises physicians and healthcare leaders and is an important dimension of the company’s relationships with the healthcare community. In addition to building connections with current and potential investors to drive value for the company, Melissa oversees the administration of Montecito’s various private equity funds, as well as healthcare tech investments and initiatives for MontecitoPLUS, the company’s platform of physician-focused technology solutions, and for the Family Office that backs Montecito.
